magnolias

 The magnolia tree at the apartment building across the street started to blossom this weekend.

 Magnolia trees are my absolute favorite, it makes me so sad that they bloom for such a brief time!

I already told M that when we buy our own house, if there is no magnolia in the front yard, we will be planting one. I can't wait to have my own magnolia tree in my own yard!

 We've had ONE warm night here in Upstate NY so far this spring. It was the perfect time to sit on the back porch with a couple of cocktails and a boombox!
