...M & I took our first spring walk on the first day of spring.
...the second day of spring? SNOW ALL DAY LONG.
...worked worked worked on new art.
...got a text from a friend who was concerned he had seen me walking and wanted to know if I needed a lift. Apparently, I have a doppleganger on the loose!
...All Over Albany 3rd birthday party: cupcakes and booze!
...went to see M's band
...dentist appointment then family time.

This week...

...had my diner piece published in the local newspaper!
...had a pretty sleepless weekend, then lost most of Sunday afternoon to a glorious nap.
...took an unexpected Monday evening trip to Turning Stone, my lucky Wheel of Fortune slot machine treated me well.
...still waiting for that warm-grill-on-the-deck-in-the-sunshine weather.
...long overdue wine and chat night with the ladies

This Week...

...spent time with my family
...enjoyed a true rainy autumn day
...caught up on etsy shop accounting that I've neglected for months, I really need to be better at staying on top of that
...feel so much more relaxed than the previous two weeks, everything is in it's place.
...MAJOR congratulations are in order for Casey over at Jerkcake!
...wishing we were independently wealthy so that I could just read & comment on your blogs all day and not have to work.
...wished our friends good luck and fortune as they move to the Windy City, we'll miss them!
...tried to go see M's band open for Sleigh Bells, only to have the doorman kick out "the girlfriends" during soundcheck. We had to stand in the rain for an HOUR before we were allowed back inside, despite being on the guestlist...not pleased with the way this show was run, but M's set was great!
...stood out in the FREEZING cold to see M's band play a Rock the Vote rally.
...too much bacon tomato ranch pizza :p

...went to the Racino and turned $10 into $40!

...made strawberry frozen yogurt from scratch!

...found out the bakery around the corner from the office bakes macarons! ...did I mention my office is moving to a different city on Monday? FAIL!

...caught up with a good friend over some delicious sushi

...was interviewed for a "man on the street" segment for a local paper, and gave a really stupid answer.

...said goodbye to the beautiful office in Historic Downtown Troy.

...ate the most perfectly ripe fresh raspberries. delicious!

...sorry upstate ny, but I refuse to SCRAPE ICE off my windshield in mid may!

So, this weekend was daylight savings time and we lost an hour of sleep. What more opportune time than this lovely Monday morning for you to allow your alarm to go off at 5:30am and continue to ring for the past hour and a half and counting? How did you know that this was EXACTLY the way I had hoped to be able to start my week? I love getting through a Monday on 4.5 hours of sleep.

...very spring-like photo taking walkabout with friendly brown

...I decided to break my diet for one special seasonal treat. I bought one Cadbury Egg, my favorite candy of all time. I looked forward to one indulgence, took a bite, and found it to be disgusting. all I could taste was the high fructose corn syrup, and the usually delicious cadbury chocolate tasted like raisin paste. i threw the rest of it out. My healthy diet has officially killed my taste for junkfood?

...went to the dr for my first physical in 4 years, alls well!

...it officially felt like spring ALL WEEK!!

...fancy dinner out with friends to celebrate a birthday.

...shooting a game of pool with M while listening to our awesome jukebox picks

...was yelled at by a co-worker for turning down a ferro roche hazelnut chocolate (one of my favs). willpower. of. STEEL!!!!!

...came home from work to find that the sink decided to drain into the dishwasher and that the dishwasher decided to collect all the nasty water and let it spill out onto the floor. did I mention this happened a day before a predicted 3 day snowpocalypse?

...was mesmerized by watching goose feather sized snowflakes fall outside my office window.

...washed our dishes in the bathroom sink.

...wednesday was a snow day, I could get used to a monday, tuesday, thursday, friday work schedule :)

...had a very uncomfortable Monday thanks to someone else's inappropriate weekend behavior

...started a new infamously hard exercise regimen...every muscle in my body aches. and I love it!

...what is WITH people who get TOO CLOSE to you in line? I had a lady literally ram her cart into my ass, what IS that!?! why do you need to be so close to me?

...got to spend all of wednesday with m & the cats, it made me happy.

...baked my first spaghetti squash, m &\ I loved it! it's definitely going to become a staple.

...finally finished my grannie square afghan! (photos to come)
