I am thankful for:

my pets

Milo, Styles, Miyagi, Walter, Bert, Bambi, Koco....some of you are gone, some of you live with other members of the family, and some of you (i'm looking at YOU styles and miyagi) drive me nuts every day. But I am so thankful to have each one of you in my lives. You have all helped me through tough times with you unconditional love, cuddles, and comic relief. You all mean so much more to me than you'll probably ever understand.

Thanksgiving isn't the same as it used to be. We lost an Aunt in a car accident on the Thanksgiving when I was in 7th grade, and holidays have never been the same since. I miss how we used to all pack into the car and go to Grandma's house and see everyone on Thanksgiving and Christmas. These days people are busy, have other places to go, can only stop in for a minute. It's not the same as the old days of the packed house and loud conversations and endless food. But what we've been through as a family also makes Thanksgiving that much more special, because we know what it's like to have someone missing from the table and appreciate how Thankful we are to be able to spend time with the people who are still here. I love you all, and I'm so thankful to be spending another Thanksgiving with you.

I'm not going to get all mushy here, but I am so thankful for your love, support, and encouragement. I don't know where I would be without you. You make me hopeful for everything to come. I love you and I'm so glad you found me.

There are hundreds, thousands of people who would love to be able to go to an office full of friendly people with bosses who really care about their employees. I know how lucky I am to have this. And I don't mind getting up early every day to go to work because I am thankful to have such a great place to go. I know there are a lot of people out there who aren't so lucky.
