JANUARY
We kicked off 2011 by attending the most amazing new years eve masquerade party.
I was on a BIG health kick / clean eating kick and drank Green Monsters every day...
...and banana "ice cream" every night!

FEBRUARY
We celebrated Valentine's Day with sushi and chocolate covered strawberries.
We celebrated M & J's birthdays with a winter evening bonfire.

MARCH
I continued my clean eating kick with lots of Green Protein bowls.
Oh yeah, and I was let got from my job. Which I didn't share on my blog because I didn't want to be a downer. But it was definitely a low point of the year.

APRIL
I turned the big 3-0.
We had an early burst of warm weather and enjoyed a night out on our little apartment deck.

MAY
We got lunch at an Albany landmark.
M's Aunt's chihuahua had puppies!
My little sister graduated college!

JUNE
Miyagi got very sick.
Amanda and I went to a Pug Parade!
M's band went on tour.

JULY
Girls night in!
We visited Camp Crumster for the first time.
We spent the afternoon in Lake George.
I started an amazing job where they took us on a beautiful picnic lunch during training!
M and I saw the most AMAZING fireworks I've ever seen.

AUGUST
We spent the weekend lounging poolside at M's Aunt's house.
Took a quick trip to New York City for work.
We began packing up our entire apartment.
We closed on our first house!
We did a lot of yard work.
Upstate NY got hit by a hurricane. When does THAT happen?!

SEPTEMBER
The moving process was slow and painful.
We took a much needed break from unpacking and drove out to Camp Crumster for the night.
M's band played Larkfest in Albany.
We finally started to feel settled in after a month in our new house.
We got engaged!!

OCTOBER
We made our cats wear Halloween costumes.
We brought Emmett home!
We went pumpkin picking
We carved pumpkins with Emmett!
We threw a housewarming party!
best of all: we got MARRIED on Halloween!!!

NOVEMBER

I took a week-long blogging break to catch up on holiday orders from my Etsy shop.

2011 has been an amazing year for us, so much has changed in the past year, and all for the better! Here's to 2012 being just as great!

I love your recap! I really mean that... I have seen many that I did NOT love at all. One was called "My Outfits of 2011" and it was virtually every outfit post picture of the year slammed into one post.
